Introduction

FleetIntel AI (“FleetIntel”, “we”, “us”) operates the website fleetintel.ai and the FleetIntel Chrome browser extension. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable law including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

Account and authentication data. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. The Chrome extension stores your authentication token locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This token is never transmitted to third parties and expires after 60 days of inactivity.

Usage data. When you use the FleetIntel API through the extension or website, we log the number of daily API requests per account for rate limiting purposes. We do not log the content of your route queries.

Crowdsourced control spot reports. When you submit a live control spot report through the map, we record the report content (location, agency, notes) along with your IP address and browser user agent. This data is used to detect abuse, prevent spam submissions, and maintain data quality. IP addresses are stored under legitimate interest for security purposes.

Technical data. We use Supabase (EU West region) for database and authentication infrastructure. Standard server logs may include IP addresses, browser type, and timestamps for security monitoring.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve the FleetIntel service, authenticate your account, enforce rate limits, detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity, and send transactional emails related to your account.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. FleetIntel products are ad-free.

Data sharing

We share data only with the following processors under data processing agreements: Supabase Inc. (database and authentication, EU West infrastructure), Anthropic PBC (AI compliance features — queries are processed without retention), and Stripe Inc. (payment processing for paid plans).

Chrome extension data practices

The FleetIntel Chrome extension requests access to fleet management platform domains (FleetHand, LocTracker, Locator.lt, FleetMaster) solely to overlay compliance data on the map interface. The extension does not read, transmit, or store any data from those platforms. Authentication tokens are stored locally using chrome.storage.local and are never sent to any server other than the FleetIntel API.

Data retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account. API rate limit logs are deleted after 30 days. IP address logs on submitted reports are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights
